Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen iş doyumunu etkileyen unsurları neler olduğunu ortaya çıkarmaktır ve buna bağlı olarak öğretmenlerin iş doyumunun çeşitli değişkenlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu bağlamda nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Katılımcılar 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili resmi okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerden oluşmaktadır Çalışma verilerini toplamak için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır.
Araştırma bulgularına göre; öğretmenlerin iş doyumunu etkileyen unsurların incelenmesinde öğretmenlerin iş doyumuna ulaşabilmesinde; motivasyon, ücret, çalışılan ortam ve okul idaresini tutumu gibi alanlara daha çok bağlı olduğu ve bunlar öğretmenin iş doyumunu olumlu-olumsuz yönlerde etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Öğretmen iş doyumunu etkileyen diğer önemli unsurun emeklerini karşılığı olan öğrencilerin başarısıdır. Sonuç olarak kutsal meslek olan öğretmenliğin değer görmesi iş doyumunu temelidir.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to reveal the factors that affect teacher job satisfaction and, accordingly, to find out whether teachers' job satisfaction differs according to various variables. In this context, qualitative research method was adopted. Participants consist of teachers working in public schools in Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used to collect the study data.
According to research findings; In examining the factors affecting teachers' job satisfaction, in helping teachers achieve job satisfaction; It is revealed that the results are more dependent on areas such as motivation, salary, working environment and school administration attitude, and these affect teachers' job satisfaction in positive and negative ways. Another important factor affecting teacher job satisfaction is the success of students who are rewarded for their efforts. As a result, the appreciation of teaching, which is a sacred profession, is the basis of job satisfaction.
