Abstract
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; anaokulundaki okul öncesi eğitimin kalitesinin artırılmasına yönelik sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri getirmektir. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla, İzmir ili Çiğli ilçesi örneklem olarak alınarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmada bilgi toplamak için okul öncesi öğretmenler ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır.
Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, okul öncesi eğitim programının uygulanabilirliği tam olarak yeterli değildir ve geliştirilmesi gerektiği, velilerle yaşanan sorunların en başında velilerin öğretmenlerin işine fazla karışmaları ve beklentilerinin yüksek olması geldiği, maddi kaynaklı sorunların en başında materyal ve malzeme eksikliği geldiği, yönetimsel sorunların en başında idarenin öğretmeni desteklememesi olduğu ve okul öncesi eğitim kalitesinin artırılması için sınıf mevcutlarının azaltılması gerektiği tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The main purpose of this research is; To bring problems and solution suggestions to improve the quality of pre-school education in kindergarten. Survey model was used in the research. For this purpose, Çiğli district of İzmir province was examined as a sample. Interviews were held with preschool teachers to collect information in the study.
According to the results of the research, the applicability of the pre-school education program is not fully sufficient and needs to be improved, the main problems experienced with parents are that parents are too involved in teachers' work and their expectations are high, the most important financial problems are the lack of materials and equipment, and the main administrative problems are the teachers of the administration. It has been determined that there is no support for pre-school education and class sizes should be reduced in order to increase the quality of pre-school education.
