Abstract

Abstract

In today, businesses which act with the understanding of corporate social responsibility do not only differentiate themselves from their competitors, but also enhance their reputation by strengthening their existing relations with society. Consequently , the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility has gained increasing interest both by businesses and its stakeholders. The aim of this study is to analyze the studies conducted on corporate social responsibility in the field of Maritime with a systematic point of view. For this purpose, the studies conducted between 2000 and 2020 were scanned in YÖK National Thesis Centre, TR Dizin and Google Academic databases, 8 studies were included in this study and subjected to bibliometric analysis. While many studies have been carried out in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility in the national literature, it is noteworthy that Corporate Social Responsibility in Maritime has not been adequately addressed. Considering that approximately 90 percent of world trade is carried out by sea transportation, the importance of the academic community supporting the subject with scientific data and contributing to its development is clearly seen.
