Abstract
Spor bilimleri tanımı umumi bir tabir çerçevesinde zikredilmekte ve değişik düzencelerin bir araya gelmesi ile meydana gelen yaygın perspektifi simgelemektedir. Bahsedilen tanım, sosyal çalışmalar, fen araştırmaları, sağlık sektörü ve eğitim alanının ana sistemindeki veri envanterinin spor ve spor bilimleri çerçevesine nakledilmesini içermektedir. Asıl üzerinde durulması elzem olan husus, temel alanlardaki bilim repertuarının doğrudan spor bilimleri kanalına aktarılmasının doğru bulunmayışıdır. Bundan sebeple, hâlihazırdaki bilgi donanımı yanında spor bilimlerine özel ar-ge çalışmalarının hayata geçmesi, taze yöntemlerin meydana gelmesi icap olmuştur.
Spor, dünyada farklı medeniyetleri, farklı lisanları ve insanları bir arada buluşturan kuvvetli bir kulvardır. Spor bilimlerinin özümsenmesi, ihtisas yapılması spor bilimlerini ihtiva eden unsurların idrak edilmesi ile hayat bulur. Spor bilimleri ile ilgili ana unsurlar iyi tahakkuk edilmedikçe ve kavramların bağları nitelikli bir zeminde bulunmadıkça spor tanımı hususunda beyan edilen yargılar ortaya koymak pek muhtemel değildir.
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de spor bilimlerinin Cumhuriyet Dönemi itibariyle gelişimi, beden eğitimi ve spor dersinin eğitim sistemi içerisindeki politikaları, spor bilimleri program ve bölüm yapılanmaları literatürde taraması yapılarak incelenmiştir.

Abstract
The definition of sports sciences is mentioned in a general term and symbolizes the common perspective that occurs with the combination of different orders. Said definition includes transferring the data inventory in the main system of social studies, science research, health sector and education to the framework of sports and sports sciences. The point that is essential to focus on is that it is not right to transfer the science repertoire in the basic fields directly to the sports science channel. For this reason, besides the current knowledge equipment, it has become necessary to implement R&D studies specific to sports sciences and to create fresh methods.
Sports is a powerful lane that brings together different civilizations, languages and people in the world. The assimilation and specialization of sports sciences come to life with the understanding of the elements that include sports sciences. Unless the main elements related to sports sciences are well understood and the ties of the concepts are not found on a qualified basis, it is not likely to reveal the judgments declared on the definition of sports.
In the study, the development of sports sciences in Turkey in the Republican Era, the policies of physical education and sports courses in the education system, the program and department structures of sports sciences were examined and their progress processes were tried to be analyzed.
