Abstract
Etkinlik ve performans analizleri şirketlerin uyguladıkları politikaların sonuçlarını görmek ve rekabetçi piyasa yapısı içinde yeni politikalar oluşturmaları açısından son derece önemlidir. Firma etkinliklerin ölçülmesi firma sahipleriyle birlikte çalışanlar ve yatırımcılar için de önem arz etmektedir. Ana metal sanayi sektöründeki firmaların verimlilik düzeyleri ülke ekonomisini de doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada ana metal sanayi kuruluşlarının 2021 yılı etkinlik düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Bu amaç kapsamında İstanbul Sanayi Odası tarafından yayımlanan İSO 500 listesinde yer alan ve verilerine ulaşılabilen 20 ana metal sanayi kuruluşunun etkinliği değerlendirilmiştir. Veri Zarflama Analizi yardımıyla yapılan bu değerlendirmede girdi olarak net aktif toplamı, öz sermaye ve çalışan sayısı; çıktı olarak net satışlar, ihracat ve brüt katma değer değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada şirketlerin etkinlik durumları değerlendirilmiş ve CCR oranına göre 9 şirket, BCC oranına göre 11 şirket ve ölçek etkinlik oranına göre 11 şirket etkin bulunmuştur. Etkin olmayan şirketler için de potansiyel iyileştirmeler önerilerek şirket verimliliklerinin artırılması amaçlanmıştır. Abstract
Effectiveness and performance analyses are extremely important for companies to see the results of the policies they implement and to create new policies within the competitive market structure. Measuring company activities is also important for company owners, employees and investors. The productivity levels of companies in the base metal industry sector also directly or indirectly affect the national economy. Therefore, in this study, the activity levels of the main metal industry organizations in 2021 were examined. Within the scope of this purpose, the effectiveness of 20 main metal industrial enterprises, which are included in the ISO 500 list published by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and whose data can be accessed, has been evaluated. In this evaluation made with the help of Data Envelopment Analysis, net asset total, equity and number of employees were used as inputs; net sales, exports and gross value added variables were used as outputs. In the study, the effectiveness status of the companies was evaluated and 9 companies were found to be effective according to CCR ratio, 11 companies according to BCC ratio and 11 companies according to scale effectiveness ratio. It is aimed to increase company efficiencies by proposing potential improvements for inactive companies as well.
