Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı otobiyografi türünün taşıması gereken özellikleri belirleyerek bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Bununla birlikte bu araçla öğrencilerin otobiyografi metin türünü yazma becerilerinin ne düzeyde olduğunu belirlemektir. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yönteminde ve betimsel tarama deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma için gerekli geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Uşak Üniversitesi Türkçe Öğretmenliği Bölümü 3. sınıfta öğrenim gören 53 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada öncelikle otobiyografi yazma becerisini değerlendirmeye ilişkin ölçme aracı (Ek 1) geliştirilmiştir. Ölçme aracı; “dış yapı ve iç yapı” ana boyutundan; “Çok Kötü”, “Kötü”, “Biraz Kötü”, “Orta”, “ Biraz İyi”, “İyi”, “Çok İyi” olmak üzere yedi düzeyden oluşmaktadır. Bu özellikler, öğrencilerin metinlerinde metindilbilim ve kompozisyon öğretimi açısından olması gerekli olan özelliklerdir. Araştırmanın uygulama aşamasında kullanılmak için öğrencilerden otobiyografilerini yazmaları istenmiştir. Geliştirilen ölçme aracı ile öğrencilerinin otobiyografi yazma beceri düzeyleri tespit edilmiştir. Genel anlamda öğrencilerin otobiyografi yazma becerilerinin ortalamanın üstünde bir düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin otobiyografi türüne ilişkin bilgi ve becerilerinin yeterli olduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract
These studies aim of the autobiography of the type of transport required properties by selecting a measuring tool to develop. However, with this tool, it is to determine the level of students' ability to write autobiographical text type. Research, quantitative research method and descriptive scanning the pattern is designed. Working for necessary validity and reliability studies has been done. Working group Usak University Turkish Education Department 3rd grade education who 53 students constitute. This research primarily autobiography writing skills assessment for measuring tool (Appendix 1) was developed. Measuring tool; “Outer structure and inner structur” from the main dimension; “Very Bad", "Bad", "Poor little", "medium", "A Little Good," "Good," "Very Good" to be for seven from level consists . These features, students in text text linguistics and composition teaching in terms of being needed, which are features. Students were asked to write their autobiographies to be used in the application phase of the research. Autobiography writing skill levels of students were determined with the developed measurement tool. General speaking students autobiography writing skills of the average on a level that has been seen. As a result of the research, it can be said that the students ' knowledge and skills about the type of autobiography are sufficient
