BEDEN EĞİTİMİ VE SPOR YÜKSEKOKULUNDA OKUYAN ÖĞRENCİLERİN SOSYAL BENLİK ALGISININ İNCELENMESİ(ADIYAMAN İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı Adıyaman Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal benlik algısı düzeylerini çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu Adıyaman Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerden, 73 kadın 123 erkek olmak üzere toplam 196 gönüllü öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu’’ ve Şahin ve ark. (1994) tarafından geliştirilen ‘’ Sosyal Karşılaştırma Ölçeği’’ kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.00 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde; Mann Whitney U testi istatistiksel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğrencilerin cinsiyet ve okudukları bölüm değişkenleri ile sosyal benlik algısı puanlarının arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin yaş değişkeni ile sosyal benlik algısı puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the social self-perception levels of the students studying at Adıyaman University School of Physical Education and Sports according to various variables. The sample group of the study consisted of 196 volunteer students, 73 female and 123 male, from the students of Adıyaman University School of Physical Education and Sports. The “Personal Information Form geliştiril developed by the researcher as a data collection tool and Şahin et al. (1994) developed by the ’Social Comparison Scale’ ’was used. The data were analyzed with SPSS 22.00 package program. In the statistical analysis of the data; Mann Whitney U test statistical method was used. According to the findings of the study, it was concluded that there was no significant difference between gender and department variables and social self-perception scores. In addition, there was a significant difference between the age variable and social self-perception scores of the students.
