Abstract
Okul yöneticileri eğitim sistemi içerisinde çok önemli bir rol oynarlar ve motivasyon seviyeleri başarının anahtarıdır. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmada amaç, resmi okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin motivasyonlarını olumsuz yönde etkileyen etkenleri incelemektir. Araştırma, fenomonolojik bir yaklaşımla, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla gerçekleştirilen mülakat yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında Ankara ili Altındağ ilçesindeki resmi okullarda görev yapan 16 öğretmenden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre idarenin olumsuz tutum ve davranışları, velilerin eğitim öğretim süreçlerine müdahale etmeleri, veli ilgisizliği, öğrencilerin okula yönelik ilgisizlikleri gibi faktörlerin öğretmenlerin motivasyonlarının olumsuz olarak etkilenmesinde önemli olduğu görülmektedir. Bu sorunların çözümlerine yönelik ise katılımcı öğretmen algılarına göre öğretmenlerin motivasyonunu artırmak için okul ortamının daha destekleyici, olumlu ve güvenli hale getirilmesi önemlidir. İdari baskıların azaltılması, olumlu tutumların teşvik edilmesi ve çalışanların ihtiyaçlarına daha duyarlı bir ortamın oluşturulması önerilmektedir.

Abstract
School administrators play a very important role in the education system and their motivation levels are the key to success. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to examine the factors that negatively affect the motivation of teachers working in public schools. The research was carried out with a phenomenological approach through interviews conducted with a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. Within the scope of the research, data were collected from 16 teachers working in public schools in Altındağ district of Ankara province. According to the results of the research, it is seen that factors such as the negative attitudes and behaviors of the administration, parents' interference in the educational processes, parents' indifference, students' indifference towards school are important in negatively affecting the motivation of teachers. As for the solutions to these problems, according to the participant teachers' perceptions, it is important to make the school environment more supportive, positive and safe in order to increase teachers' motivation. Reducing administrative pressures, encouraging positive attitudes and creating an environment that is more sensitive to the needs of employees are suggested.
