Abstract
Türkiye stratejik konumu nedeniyle özellikle komşu ülke vatandaşlarının gözde bir göç merkezi haline gelmiştir. 2011’den itibaren yaşanan göç dalgası ile yoğun bir yabancı uyruklu nüfusa ev sahipliği yapan Türkiye, yabancı uyruklu eğitim-öğrenim çağındaki öğrencilerin eğitim sistemine etkin olarak katılımı, entegrasyonunun sağlanması için çaba göstermektedir. Türkiye’deki yabancı uyruklu öğrencilere yönelik çalışmalar genellikle dil-iletişim ve sosyal uyum bağlamında yoğunlaşırken müzik eğitimi alanında çok azdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, zorunlu eğitimin en önemli unsurlarından biri olan genel müzik eğitiminde yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin durumunu, bu öğrenciler açısından genel müzik eğitiminin yerini ve önemini tespit etmektir. Sonuç olarak, diğer öğrencilerle birlikte yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin de eğitim sistemimizde bulunduğu göz ardı edilmeden bu öğrencilerin müzik eğitiminden etkin bir şekilde faydalanması gerekmektedir.

Abstract
Due to its strategic location, Turkey has become a popular migration center, especially for citizens of neighboring countries. Turkey, which hosts a dense foreign national population with the migration wave experienced since 2011, is making efforts to ensure the effective participation and integration of foreign students of educational age in the education system. While the studies for foreign students in Turkey are usually concentrated in the context of language-communication and social harmony, there is very little in the field of music education. The aim of this study is to determine the status of foreign students in general music education, which is one of the most important elements of compulsory education, the place and importance of general music education for these students. As a result, it is necessary for these students to benefit from music education effectively, without ignoring that foreign students are also in our education system along with other students.
