Abstract
İlgili literatürde ilk ve orta eğitim kademesi öğrencilerinde akademik başarı ve sosyal beceri arasında ilişki olduğu bildirilmektedir. Ayrıca düşük akademik performans gösteren ya da öğrenme güçlüğü olan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu, öğrenme yeteneklerini engelleyen sosyal beceri zorlukları taşımaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada dört yıllık lisans öğrenimi gören üniversite öğrencilerde akademik başarı ve sosyal beceri arası ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya, dört yıllık lisans programlarında öğrenim gören 18-51 yaşları arasında ((ort. = 22,65; s = 4,04) 568 kadın (%56,3), 440 erkek (%43,7)) toplam 1008 öğrenci katılmıştır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin uygulamanın yapıldığı döneme kadar olan genel akademik başarı not ortalaması alınmış ve A Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği-80 uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerin genel akademik başarı notu ile sosyal beceri düzeyleri arasında r = 0,08 (p < 0,01) korelasyon katsayısı bulunmuştur. Genel akademik başarı notu açısından değişik düzeylerde öğrenciler alt ve üst gruplar olarak ikiye ayrılmış ve ikili lojistik regresyon analizi kullanılarak bu gruplar yordanmıştır. Lojistik regresyon analizi sonuçlarında da genel akademik başarı notu açısından alt ve üst grupların yordanmasında sosyal becerinin katkı sağlamadığı görülmüştür. Sonuçlar ilgili literatür doğrultusunda tartışılmış ve gelecekteki araştırmalar için öneriler belirtilmiştir.

Abstract
In the related literature, it is reported that there is a relationship between academic achievement and social skills in primary and secondary education students. Additionally, the majority of students with low academic performance or learning disabilities have social skills difficulties that hinder their ability to learn. In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between academic achievement and social skills in university students who have a four-year undergraduate education. A total of 1008 students ((M = 22.65; s = 4.04) (568 female (56.3%), 440 male (43.7%)) between the ages of 18-51 studying in four-year undergraduate programs were participated in the study. In the study, the general academic achievement grade point average of the students until the application period was taken and A Social Skills Scale-80 was applied. As a result, a correlation coefficient of r = 0.08 (p < 0.01) was found between the students' general academic achievement grade and their social skill levels. In terms of general academic achievement, students at different levels were divided into upper and lower groups, and these groups were predicted using binary logistic regression analysis. In the logistic regression analysis results, it was seen that social skills did not contribute to the prediction of the lower and upper groups in terms of general academic achievement. The results are discussed with the relevant literature and directions for future research are suggested.
