Abstract
Karikatür sanatı hem ülkemizde hem de dünyada çok eski olmasa da yeni de sayılmayacak bir yere sahiptir. Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun son dönemlerinden Cumhuriyetimizin kuruluş yıllarını da içine alarak günümüze kadar gelmiş hem mizah hayatımızda hem de basın hayatında önemli bir yer edinmiştir. Karikatür aracılığıyla öğrenme ve öğretme metodu birçok çalışma tarafından denenmiş özellikle Eğitim Bilimleri çalışmaları tarafından da olumlu sonuçlarının olduğu test edilmiştir.
Bu çalışmada Erzurum Tarihi Eserleri karikatür ve mizahi bir dille tasvir edilmiştir. Birçok karikatür hazırlanmış ancak içlerinden temsil yeteneği güçlü olduğu düşünülen beş karikatür seçilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuç çıkarmak için nitel bir yöntem tercih edilmiş olup öncesinde ve sonrasında olmak üzere iki nitel görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Her iki formda yarı yapılandırılmış olarak hazırlanmıştır. İlk formda Erzurum’un tarihi eserleri hakkında görüşmecilerin fikirleri ve bunların neler olduğu sorulmuş olup sonrasında ise seçilen karikatürler görüşmecilere gösterilmiştir. İkinci yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formunda ise 1. soru Gördüğünüz karikatür ilgi çekici olup olmadığının sebepleri ile birlikte değerlendirir misiniz? 2. soru Eğer ilginizi çektiyse karikatürde dikkat ettiğiniz figürler hangisidir? 3. soru Herhangi bir figüre dikkat çekmek için karikatür kullanımı fikrini nasıl buluyorsunuz? Şeklinde 5 katılımcıya yöneltilmiştir katılımcılardan gelen dönütler ışığında bulgular ve sonuç kısmı hazırlanmıştır.
Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların karikatürle bir figürü ve fikri dikkat çekip çekici hale getirme fikrini onaylamışlar ve oldukça dikkat çekici olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

Abstract
Although cartoon art is not very old both in our country and in the world, it has a place that is not new. From the last periods of the Ottoman Empire to the foundation years of our Republic, it has come to the present day and has gained an important place in both humor and press life. The method of learning and teaching through cartooning has been tried by many studies and has been tested to have positive results especially by Educational Sciences studies. In this study, Erzurum Historical Works are depicted in a caricature and humorous language. Many cartoons were prepared, but five cartoons were selected from them, which were considered to be capable of representation. A qualitative method was preferred to draw conclusions from the research and two qualitative interview forms were prepared before and after. Both forms are prepared in a semi-structured form. In the first form, the interviewers' opinions about the historical monuments of Erzurum and what they were were asked and then the selected cartoons were shown to the interviewers. In the second semi-structured interview form, question 1 Can you evaluate the reasons for whether the cartoon you see is interesting or not? Question 2: If you are interested, which figures do you pay attention to in the cartoon? Question 3: How do you come up with the idea of using caricature to draw attention to any figure? In the light of the feedback from the participants, the findings and conclusion were prepared in the form of 5 participants.According to the results of the research, the participants approved the idea of making a figure and idea remarkable with a cartoon and stated that it was quite remarkable.
