Abstract
Etkileşimlerin ve görünürlüğün arttığı sosyal medya hayatımızın birçok noktasını olumlu ve olumsuz bir şekilde etkilemektedir. Sosyal medyanın hayatımızı hem olumlu hem de olumsuz yönde etkilemesi, sosyal medya ile kurduğumuz etkileşimden kaynaklanmaktadır. Sosyal medya bireysel ve toplumsal olarak belirli platformlar aracılığı ile ailenin işleyişini olumsuz bir şekilde etkilemektedir. Çünkü sosyal medya platformlarında her şeyin görünür olması, hızlı değişip dönüşmesi ailenin bazı işlevlerinin aksamasına ve sosyal medyadan olumsuz etkilenmesine neden olmaktadır. Sosyal medyanın hızlı değişim ve dönüşümlere neden olması ile birlikte toplumun her kesiminden bireylerin görünür kılınması da ailenin işleyişine karşı olumsuzlukların artmasına yol açmaktadır. Eşcinsel birliktelikler, birlikte yaşam, sosyal medyanın ailenin özel alanını yani mahremiyetini görünür kılması bu durumlara örnek olarak gösterilmektedir. Bu olumsuzlukların karşısında ailenin kurumsal olarak varlığını koruması gerekmekte ve bununla birlikte ailenin toplumsal, kültürel ve inanç noktasındaki diğer işlevlerinin de dikkate alınması gerekmektedir. Bunun için büyük risklere karşı tek bir yönden aileyi ele almanın aksine aileyi birçok yönden değerlendirip, ailenin işleyişini olumsuz etkileyecek durumlara karşı analizler yapılması ve aile kavramının farkında olunması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada ailenin işleyişine yönelik çeşitli riskler üzerinde durularak ailenin işleyişinde meydana gelen bozulmalar bu riskler çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Sosyal medya, aile ve tanımı, ailenin işleyişi, ailenin işleyiş kuralları ve sosyal medyanın aile işleyişine etkisi başlıkları ile araştırma şekillenmiştir.

Social media, where interactions and visibility increase, affects many aspects of our lives in a positive and negative way. The fact that social media affects our lives both positively and negatively are due to the interaction we have with social media. Social media negatively affects the functioning of the family individually and socially through certain platforms. Because the visibility of everything on social media platforms and the rapid change and transformation cause certain functions of the family to be disrupted and negatively affected. Along with the rapid changes and transformations of social media, the fact that it allows every field and identity to be visible, leads to an increase in the negativities against the functioning of the family. Same-sex partnerships, cohabitation, and the fact that social media makes the private area of the family visible are examples of these situations. In the face of these negativities, besides stating that the family should protect its institutional existence, other functions of the family should also be taken into account in terms of social, cultural and religious beliefs. For this, it is necessary to evaluate the family in many ways, analyze and be aware of the situations that will negatively affect the functioning of the family, as opposed to dealing with the family in a single direction against great risks. In this study, various risks for the functioning of the family were emphasized, and the deterioration in the functioning of the family was evaluated within the framework of these risks. The research has been shaped with the titles of social media, family and its definition, the functioning of the family, the rules of operation of the family and the effect of social media on the family functioning.
