Abstract
Müzik, yaşamda önemli bir yere sahiptir. Her yaştan birey, günlük yaşamda müzikle temas etmekte, icra eden ya da dinleyen vasfıyla, bir şekilde müziğin içinde bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle güncel şarkılarda var olan sözcük haznesi bireylerin üzerinde bazen dilin doğru ve etkili kullanmasında aracılık etmekte bazen de yanlış kullanılan kalıpların dile yerleşmesi yönünde etkili olmaktadır. Şarkıların dildeki söz varlıklarının gelişimine önemli bir katkısı olduğu belirtilmektedir. Tam tersi biçimde güncel yaşamda kullanılan dil de şarkılara yansır. Dil yaşayan bir valıktır. Bu nedenle bir dilin zenginliğinin bir göstergesi olan söz varlılarının belirlenmesinde şarkılar önemli bir çalışma alanıdır. Bu bakış açısıyla, Türkçe pop şarkılarının incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi güncel dilin kullanıma yönelik veriler taşıması nedeniyle önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, 1994-2020 yılları arasında yayınlanan bazı Türkçe Pop şarkıların sözlerini incelemeyi ve dilin kullanımına yönelik anlamlı sonuçlar elde etmeyi amaçlanmaktir. İnceleme için belirtilen aralıkta rastgele örnekleme ile her yıl için 10 parça ve toplamda 270 parça seçilerek doküman incelemsi ile analiz edilmiştir. Belirlenen şarkı sözleri içinde yer alan sözcükler tek tek incelenerek atasözü, deyim, yansıma, mecaz, bağlaç özel isim gibi farklı sınıflar altında kategorize edilmiştir. Araştrımanın sonucunda Türkçe Pop şarkılarda en çok mecaz sözün ve ardından bağlaçların kullanıldığı, en az ise atasözü ile yansımaların kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. İncelemeye dahil edilen şarkılarda özlü söz kullanımına ise hiç rastlanmamıştır.

Abstract
Music has an important place in life. Individuals of all ages come into contact with music in daily life, and are involved in music in some way, either as a performer or as a listener. For this reason, the vocabulary existing in contemporary songs sometimes mediates the correct and effective use of the language on individuals, and sometimes influences the placement of the wrongly used patterns in the language. It is stated that songs have an important contribution to the development of vocabulary in the language. On the contrary, the language used in daily life is also reflected in the songs. Language is a living being. For this reason, songs are an important field of study in determining vocabulary, which is an indicator of the richness of a language. From this point of view, the examination and evaluation of Turkish pop songs is important because it contains data for the use of the current language. In this study, it is aimed to examine the lyrics of some Turkish Pop songs published between 1994-2020 and to obtain meaningful results for the use of language. 10 pieces for each year and a total of 270 pieces were selected with random sampling at the specified interval for analysis, and analyzed by document review. The words in the determined song lyrics were analyzed and classified one by one. As a result of the examination, it has been divided into different classes such as proverb, idiom, reflection, metaphor, conjunction and proper noun. As a result of the research, it was determined that metaphorical words and then conjunctions were used the most in Turkish Pop songs, while proverbs and reflections were used the least. No concise words were used in the songs included in the analysis.
