Abstract
Fikrin ön planda tutulduğu, kavramsal sürecin dikkat çekici olduğu, gündelik yaşamın etkilerinin görüldüğü kamusal alan tasarımları, çağdaş sanatın önemli bir unsuru olarak sanat tarihindeki konumunu devam ettirmektedir. Özellikle 1960 sonrası sanata bakışı değiştiren, sanatçı ve izleyici algısının farklılaştığı performanslar ve birçok tasarımlar gerçekleşmektedir. Sanatçılar, kamusal alan tasarımı kavramlarına yeni bir gerçeklik kazandırmakta ve bilindik tüm algılama biçimlerini değiştirmektedir. Kamusal alanlar; artık tek başına içinde bulunulan ya da yaşanılan bir yer olma işlevi dışında yeni bir forma dönüşebilen, izleyici ile algılanması değişebilen alanlar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Sanatçı/tasarımcı kamusal alanı yetenekleri doğrultusunda düzenlemekte, farklı algılanabilen bir alan oluşturmakta ve izleyiciyi bazen tasarımın bir parçası olarak tasarımla bir bütün haline getirmektedir. Çağdaş sanatta mekanların, alanların artık birer sanat eseri olarak görüldüğü ve seyirciyle birlikte ortak bir performans gösterilen yer olduğu bilinen bir gerçektir. Özellikle seyircinin eser ile ilişkisi doğrultusunda mekânlar sürekli değişmekte ve yeni algılama biçimleri oluşmasına vesile olmaktadır. Sanatın algılamada değişim yaşaması, izleyiciyi çağdaş sanatın ona sunduğu yeni deneyimler sayesinde yapıtın bir parçası olma ve sanata bakışını olumlu yönde değiştirmektedir. Çağdaş sanatın mekâna ve alanlara karşı sınırları eridikçe, duygu ve düşüncelerin dahil edildiği aktif ve etkileşimli bir süreç işlemektedir. Bu anlamda çağdaş sanatta kamusal alan tasarımlarında/uygulamalarında mekâna ve alanlara dair söylemler izleyici ile bütünleştiğinde yeni ve farklı bir oluşum gözlenebilmektedir.
Sanat, yüzyıllardır hayatın her anında ve alanında yaşamaktadır. Sanatçı ise içinde yaşadığı toplumun tüm öğelerinden etkilenmekte ve bireysel yaşantısının etkileri ile tasarımlarını gerçekleştirmektedir. Sanatçılar yeni fikirleri, mekâna ve alana özgü ve farklı materyallerle, özgün bir şekilde gerçekleştirmektedirler. Bu çalışmada İngiliz sanatçı/tasarımcı Morag Myerscough’ın mekân/alan-izleyici arasındaki karşılıklı etkileşimi ile ortaya çıkardığı kamusal alan tasarımları ele alınmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmada; sanatçının çağdaş sanat pratikleri bakımından mekân ve alanların değişen algısını ortaya koymasına ve izleyicilerin kamusal alan tasarımlarına ilişkin bakışlarının farklılaşmasının önemine değinilmektedir.

Abstract
Public space designs, in which the idea is prioritized, the conceptual process is remarkable, and the effects of daily life are seen, maintain their position in the history of art as an important element of contemporary art. Especially after 1960, there are performances and many designs that change the view of art and differentiate the perception of the artist and the audience. Artists bring a new reality to the concepts of public space design and change all known forms of perception. public spaces; now appear as areas that can transform into a new form apart from the function of being a place to be lived in or lived alone, and which can be perceived with the audience. The artist/designer organizes the public space in line with his abilities, creates a space that can be perceived differently, and unites the viewer with the design, sometimes as a part of the design. It is a well-known fact that in contemporary art, spaces are now seen as works of art and a joint performance is shown with the audience. Especially in line with the relationship of the audience with the work, the spaces are constantly changing and conducive to the formation of new perceptions. The change in perception of art positively changes the viewer's view of being a part of the work and art thanks to the new experiences that contemporary art offers to him. As the boundaries of contemporary art against space and spaces dissolve, an active and interactive process in which emotions and thoughts are included. In this sense, a new and different formation can be observed when the discourses about space and spaces in public space designs/applications in contemporary art are integrated with the audience.
Art has been living in every moment and area of life for centuries. The artist, on the other hand, is affected by all the elements of the society he lives in and realizes his designs with the effects of his individual life. Artists realize new ideas in a unique way with different materials specific to the place and the area. In this study, the public space designs created by British artist/designer Morag Myerscough with the interaction between space/space-audience are discussed. In this context, in the study; In this article, the importance of the artist's changing perception of spaces and spaces in terms of contemporary art practices and the differentiation of viewers' perspectives on public space designs is mentioned.
