Abstract
Eski çağlardan itibaren; insanoğlu ölümsüzlük tutkusuyla sağlıklı bir bedene sahip olma isteği içerisindedir. Raporlanan arkeolojik kazılarda, birçok bitki özünün ve benzeri doğada ulaşılabilir kaynakların bir araya getirilerek, şifa bekleyen insanlara sunulduğu bilinmektedir. Aşı da en basit tabirle, hastalıklarla mücadele için geliştirilmiş içerisinde çeşitli etken maddelerin bulunduğu önleyici bir tedavi yöntemidir. Aşı ile hedeflenen gaye, insan vücudunun pasif nitelikteki mikrop ile tanışıp bağışıklık geliştirme tavrına girmesi şeklinde açıklanabilir.
Aşı reddi kavramı hayatımıza yeni girmemiştir. Aşı çalışmalarının hızlanması neticesinde 20. yüzyıl başlarında aşı reddinde bulunan kitleler oluşmuştur. Aşı ve aşı reddi, bir madalyonunu iki yüzü şeklinde ayrılmayan ve karşılıklı refleksler gösteren dinamiklere sahiptir.
Aşı reddinde bulunan kişilerin; bu yönde sahip oldukları temel hak ve özgürlük ile ancak toplumsal bağışıklığın sağlanması neticesinde salgın hastalıklardan korunabilecek; ciddi sağlık komplikasyonlarına sahip, organ yetmezliği yaşayan, tedavi gören, kronik hastalığı bulunan veya yaş sebebiyle aşıya uygun olmayan bireylerin de yaşam hakkına sahip oldukları unutulmamalıdır.
Aşı reddi yönünde irade açıklayan kişiler; aşıların içeriğinde bulunan etken maddeler, aşı faz çalışmaları gibi bilimsel kaygıların yanı sıra dini, kültürel ve sosyal faktörlerden etkilenebilirler.
Çalışmada; bir tarafta temel hak ve özgürlükler diğer tarafta ise yaşam hakkının bulunduğu hassas terazi, vücudu üzerinde dilediği tasarrufta bulunma hakkına sahip aşı reddi yönünde irade açıklayan kesimin motivasyon kaynakları üzerinden incelenmiştir.

Abstract
From ancient times; human beings desire to have a healthy body with the passion of immortality. In the reported archaeological excavations, it is known that many plant extracts and similar avaible resounces in nature were brought together and presented to people waiting for healing. In the simplest terms, vaccination is a preventive treatment method that contains various active substances developed to combat diseases. The purpose targeted by the vaccine can be explained as the human body's introduction to the passive microbe and adopting an immune-development attitude.
The concept of vaccine refusal is not new to our lives. Since the beginning of the 20th century, when vaccine studies accelerated, masses of the people who rejected the vaccine have formed. The concept of vaccine and vaccine rejection era inseparable and have dynamics that show mutual reflexes, and we can see these phenomena as two sides of the coin.
Fundamental rights and freedoms of persons who refuse vaccination and also on the other the other hand people who can be protected from epidemic diseases only as a result of ensuring social immunity; It should not be forgotten that individuals with serious health complications, organ failure, undergoing treatment, chronic disease or who are not eligible for vaccination due to their young age also have the right to life.
Persons who declare to refuse vaccination; the active ingredients in vaccines can be affected by religious, cultural and social factors as well as scientific concerns such as vaccine phase study.
In the study; on the one hand, fundamental rights and freedoms, and on the other hand, the sensitive scales with the right to life have been examined through the motivation sources of those who have the right to dispose of their body and express their will to reject the vaccine.
