Abstract
Amasya tarihi süreç içerisinde farklı siyasi teşekküllere siyasi ve dini anlamda uzun yıllar merkezlik yapmış, Osmanlılar döneminde de ilk zapt edildiği yıllarda eyalet, sonraki dönemlerde şehzadelerin de eğitim gördüğü bir sancak merkezi olarak statüsünü sürdürmüştür. Tarihi önemi ve coğrafi konumu nedeniyle yerel tarih çalışmalarında ilgi çekmiş farklı yönleriyle çok sayıda çalışmaya konu olmuştur. Ancak Amasya sancağının 20. yüzyıl başlarında Osmanlıdan Cumhuriyete geçiş sürecinin hemen öncesindeki ekonomik durumu, tarım ve hayvancılık sektöründeki üretim potansiyeli ve ürün fiyatları konusunda şimdiye kadar ayrıntılı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu eksikliğin giderilmesi adına bu çalışmada 20. yüzyıl başlarında Amasya sancağı özelinde tarım ve hayvancılık sektöründe üretim ve fiyatlar ele alınacaktır. Çalışma ile önce 20. yüzyıl başlarında Amasya sancağında tarım ve hayvancılık sektöründe üretim ve fiyatlar, üretimi artırmak amacıyla yapılan girişimlerin incelenmesi, Amasya sancağı örneğinden hareketle de imparatorluk taşrasında tarım ve hayvancılık sektöründeki üretim ve fiyatlar, üretim artışı için yapılan girişimler ile ilgili genel bir fikir verilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada sancağın mezkûr sektörlerdeki üretim ve fiyatları karşılaştırmaya dayalı olarak analitik metotla ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada ağırlıklı olarak Ticaret ve Ziraat Nezâreti tarafından yayınlanan Memalik-i Osmaniye’nin 1329 Senesine Mahsus Ziraat İstatistiği -MOZİ-, sancağa bağlı kazalara ait temettuat defterleri ve Şer‛iyye sicilleri yanında araştırma eserlerden yararlanılmıştır.

Abstract
Amasya has been the center of different political organizations in the political and religious sense for many years in the historical process. Due to its historical importance and geographical location, it has attracted attention in local history studies and has been the subject of many studies with different aspects. However, no detailed study has been carried out on the economic situation of the Amasya sanjak just before the transition period from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic at the beginning of the 20th century, the production potential in the agriculture and livestock sector and the product prices. In order to eliminate this deficiency, in this study, production and prices in the agriculture and livestock sector will be discussed in the Amasya sanjak at the beginning of the 20th century. With the study, first of all, production and prices in the agriculture and livestock sector in the Amasya sanjak at the beginning of the 20th century, and the attempts made to increase production were examined, and based on the example of Amasya sanjak, it is aimed to give a general idea about the production and prices in the agriculture and livestock sector in the imperial provinces, and the attempts made for production increase. In the study, the production and prices of the sanjak in the aforementioned sectors are discussed with an analytical method based on comparison. In the study, mainly Agricultural Statistics of Memalik-i Osmaniye for the year 1329 -MOZİ-, which was published by the Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture, the temettuat registers of the districts of the sanjak and the Shari'ah registers, as well as research works were used.
