Seramik Karonun Bedene Dönüşümü: Zhanna Kadyrova’nın (Жанна Эльфатовна Кадырова ) Second Hand Projesi

Abstract
Ukrayna’da doğan ve yaşayan Zhanna Kadyrova kolektif bir bakış açısıyla kamusal alanın yeniden değerlendirilmesi amacıyla eserler üretir. Ukrayna’nın sosyo-ekonomik tarihi ile bağlantılı yerleştirmeler yapar. Dünyanın pek çok kentinde eleştirel bir bilincin geliştirilmesi amacıyla projeler gerçekleştirir. Kentte sanat eseri ile izleyici arasında bağlantı kurar. Bunu yaparken de farklı malzemeler kullanır. Araştırmanın amacı; Zhanna Kadyrova’nın sanat pratiğini incelemek ve projelerinden biri olan Second Hand serilerinin nasıl geliştiğini sorgulamaktır. Araştırmada Kadyrova’nın Second Hand projesindeki eserler analiz edilmiştir. Bu eserler araştırmanın kapsam ve konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın temel problemleri şu şekilde sıralanabilir: Zhanna Kadyrova’nın eserlerinde öne çıkan kavramların tarih, kültür ve aidiyetle ilişkilendirilmesinin nedenleri nelerdir? Sanatçının doğup büyüdüğü ülkenin tarihsel perspektifinin sanatçının üretimine katkıları nelerdir? Second Hand projesindeki çalışmalar neden bir beden görünümüne sahiptir? Malzeme olarak neden seramik karo kullanılmıştır? Bu soruların cevapları; Zhanna Kadyrova’nın Second Hand projesinin neden yapıldığına ilişkin okurlara katkı sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.

Abstract
Born and living in Ukraine, Zhanna Kadyrova produces works with the aim of re-evaluating the public space from a collective perspective. She makes installations related to the socio-economic history of Ukraine. She carries out projects to develop a critical consciousness in many cities of the world. She establishes a connection between works of art and audience in cities. She uses different materials while doing this. The aim of the research is to examine the art practice of Zhanna Kadyrova and to question how the Second Hand series, which is one of her projects, have developed. In the research, the works in Kadyrova’s Second Hand project have been analysed. These works constitute the scope and subject of the research. The main questions of the research can be listed as follows: What are the reasons for the association of prominent concepts in Zhanna Kadyrova’s works with history, culture and belonging? What are the contributions of the historical perspective of the country in which the artist was born and raised to the artist’s production? Why are the works in the Second Hand project in the shape of a body? Why is ceramic tile used as a material? It is hoped that the answers to these questions will contribute to the readers about why Zhanna Kadyrova’s Second Hand project was done.
