Abstract
2000’li yıllar tüm dünyada teknolojinin ve ekonomilerin en hızlı gelişim gösterdiği dönem olmuştur. Bunun en önemli nedeni gelişen teknoloji aracığıyla ülkelerin benzer ihtiyaçları olan tek bir pazar haline dönüşmesidir. Teknoloji ve iletişim araçlarının gelişmesi, kurumların iş potansiyellerinin, üretimin ve istihdamın artmasına, dolayısıyla ekonomilerin gelişmesine aracılık etmiştir. Her ne kadar dönemsel olarak özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkeler ekonomik krizlerle yüz yüze gelse de genel anlamda ülkelerin mali sirkülasyonları ekonomik büyümeyi göstermektedir. 2019 yılında ortaya çıkan ve ne tür bir hastalık olduğunu tespit edene kadar milyonlarca insanın ölümüne neden olan bir salgın dünyadaki ekonomik gelişmeleri alt üst etmiştir. Covid-19 adı verilen bu hastalık tüm dünyayı şok ederek ekonomilerin de durma noktasına gelmesine neden olmuştur. İş yerlerinin kapalı olması, e- ticaret uygulamasını her firmanın uygulayamaması, firmaların ellerinde yedek akçe ve yatırımlarının olmaması nedeniyle birçok şirket için de iflasın eşiğine gelmesi söz konusu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada dünya tarihinin en önemli ekonomik çalkantılarının sebebi olan Covid-19’un küresel ve sektörel etkileri ve yapılabilecek finansal tedbirler ele alınmıştır

Abstract
The 2000s have been the period in which technology and economies showed the fastest development all over the world. The most important reason for this is that countries have turned into a single market with similar needs through developing technology. The development technology and communication tools has mediated the increase in business potential and production and employment of institutions and thus the development of economies. Although the developing countries come face to face with economic crises periodically the financial circulation of the countries in general shows the economic growth. An epidemic that emerged in 2019 and killed millions of people until it determined what kind of disease it was upsetting economic developments in the world. This disease, called Covid-19, shocked the whole world and caused economies to come to standstill. Many companies have come to the brink of bankruptcy because their workplaces are closed not every company can implement the e-commerce application and companies do not have reserves and investments. In this study, the global and sectoral effects of Covid-19 which is the couse of the most important economic turmoil in the world history and the financial measures that can be taken are discussed.
