Abstract
Batı resim sanatı değerleriyle önemini kaybeden Türk Minyatür Sanatı geri planda kalmış ve unutulmaya yüz tutmuş geleneksel el sanatlarımızdan biri olmuştur. Özellikle Görsel Sanatlar öğretiminde kendi milli sanat değerlerimizden olan Türk Minyatür Sanatına ne kadar sahip çıkıyoruz veya bunu gelecek nesillere ne kadar iyi anlatıyoruz sorusu bu çalışmanın çıkış noktası olmuştur. Bununla ilgili olarak Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Görsel Sanatlar Öğretim Programı ele alınmış ve ilgili kazanımlar incelenmiştir. Çalışmada Minyatür sanatının tarihi serüveni ile ilgili bazı kesitlere de yer verilmiştir. Aynı zamanda ortaokul resim iş müfredatındaki yeri ve önemine dikkat çekilmeye çalışılmıştır. Öğretim programının ortaokul kademesi belirlenmiş, kültürel miras öğrenme alanıyla da sınırlı tutulmuştur. Bu amaçla ilgili kaynaklar taranarak belirli bir düzen içerisinde aktarılmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemi ve doküman analizi tekniği ile oluşturulmuştur.

Abstract
Turkish Miniature Art, which lost its importance with the values of Western painting, has remained in the background and has become one of our traditional handicrafts that has sunk into oblivion. The question of how much we protect Turkish Miniature Art, which is one of our national artistic values, especially in the Visual Arts education, or how well we explain it to future generations, has been the starting point of this study. In this regard, the Visual Arts Education Program of the Ministry of Education has been handled and the related achievements have been examined. In the study, some sections about the historical adventure of miniature art are also included. At the same time, attention has been paid to its place and importance in the secondary school painting job curriculum. The secondary school level of the curriculum has been determined, and it is also limited to the learning area of cultural heritage.For this purpose, related sources were scanned and transferred in a certain order. The study was created with qualitative research method and document analysis technique.
