Aile İçi Şiddetin Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolü Üzerindeki Etkisi: Üniversite Öğrencilerine Yönelik Bir Uygulama

Abstract
İnsan yaşamımın hemen hemen her alanında karşı karşıya kalınan şiddet, önüne geçilemeyen bir şekilde pek çok kişinin hayatını, fiziksel ve ruhsal sağlığını, huzurunu ve mutluluğunu etkileyen bir tehlike olarak varlığını sürdürmektedir. Aile içinde şiddet ise daha çok eşe yönelik ve erkeğin kadına uyguladığı şiddet biçiminde olmaktadır ve ataerkil toplumlarda şiddetin dışavurumu ile erkeğe baskın olması öğretilmektedir. Bu bağlamda aile içi şiddetin temelinde bireylerin toplumsal cinsiyetlerine yönelik tutumları yatmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, aile içi şiddetin toplumsal cinsiyet rolü üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ankette öğrencilerin kişisel bilgilerini belirlemeye yönelik sorular (cinsiyet, yaş vb) ile Zeyneloğlu ve Terzioğlu (2011) tarafından geliştirilen “Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği” ile Şahin ve Dişsiz (2009) tarafından geliştirilen “Aile İçi Şiddet Tutum Ölçeği” yer almaktadır. Araştırmaya Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Çocuk Gelişimi, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon, Sağlık Yönetimi ve Sosyal Hizmet Bölümlerinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler arasından rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 317 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada betimsel istatistiklerin yanı sıra değişkenler arası ilişkiler için t testi ve varyans analizi gibi parametrik testler ve korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, üniversite öğrencilerinin aile içi şiddeti genel olarak reddettikleri ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin eşitlikçi tutumlara sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğinin yerleşmesi ve aile içi şiddetin önlenmesi için bilinç ve farkındalık kazandırmak amaçlı çalışmalar yapılmasına ihtiyaç vardır.

Abstract
The violence confronted in almost every area of all human life continues to exist as a danger that affects many people's lives, physical and mental health, peace and happiness. Violence in the family is more in the form of violence directed towards the husband and the woman, and in patriarchal societies it is taught that the violence is manifested by the expression of violence. Violence in the family is more in the form of violence directed towards the wife and the male and in patriarchal societies, it is taught to dominate men with violence. In this context, there are attitudes towards the gender of individuals on the basis of domestic violence. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of domestic violence on gender role. Survey technique was used to collect data. The questionnaire consisted of questions (gender, age etc.) to determine the personal information of the students and ”Gender Role Attitude Scale“ developed by Zeyneloğlu and Terzioğlu (2011) and Developed by Şahin and Dişsiz (2009) “Domestic Violence Attitude Scale”. A total of 317 students who were selected by random sampling method among the students in the Child Development, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management and Social Work Departments, participated in the study. In addition to descriptive statistics, parametric tests and correlation analysis such as t-test and variance analysis were used for the relationships between variables. As a result of the study, it was determined that university students generally rejected domestic violence and they had an egalitarian attitude towards gender roles. Establishment of gender equality and efforts to raise consciousness and awareness for the prevention of domestic violence are needed studies.
