Abstract
İnsanlık tarihi yaşamla ilgili her türlü ihtiyacını karşılarken, duygu ve düşüncelerini ifade ettiği edebi eserleri de oluşturmuştur. Bu edebi türlerin en eskileri doğaçlama verilen ürünlerdir. Masal da toplumların en önemli kültür imzalarından biridir. Kurumsal eğitim sistemlerinden çok daha önce masallar toplumun eğitim aracı olmuştur. Bugün bile eğitimde önemli bir yeri olan masalların hala incelenmesi gereken pek çok boyutu vardır. Bir sembol dili olan giriş tekerlemeleri üzerinde ise hemen hemen hiç durulmamıştır. Masal ve masal tekerlemelerini yorumlanma, çözümlenme ve algılanmasında ise üstbiliş çalışmaları önemli bir yere sahiptir. Toplumun kolektif şuurunu yansıtan doğaçlama (irticalen) eserler içerisinde sosyolojik, psikolojik, tarihi, siyasi, ekonomik ve benzeri unsurları barındırır. Üstbiliş stratejilerini kullanan birey, ne bildiğini ve ne bilmediğini tanımlar, düşündüklerini ifade eder ve düşünme sürecini sorgular. Bu çalışmada, disiplinler arası bir yaklaşımla üstbiliş kavramı göz önünde bulundurularak masal ve masal tekerlemeleri incelenmiştir.

Abstract
The humankind has created literary works which express feelings and thoughts while meeting all kinds of needs related to life. The most ancient of these literary genres are spontaneous products. Tale is also one of the most important cultural signatures of societies. Beforehand of institutional education, tales were educational method of the society, Even today, Tales have important impact on education and many issues of the tales still need to studied. Almost ever mentioned on the giriş rhyme which is a symbol language. Metacognition works have an impact on interpretation, analysis, and perception of tales and tales rhymes. It has sociological, psychological, historical, political and economical points in spontaneous works that reflects the collective consciousness of society The person whom uses metacognition strategies defines what he knows and does not know, express what he thinks and who also questions the process of thinking. In this study, tales and tales rhymes are examined by considering the concept of metacognition with an interdisciplinary approach.
