The aviation industry was one of the people most negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which spread to the whole world and negatively affected life after it was first detected in China. As of March 2020, countries started to implement restrictions as borders closuresan subsequently, due to the restrictions, signs of pandemic crisis began to apper aviation industry which had continuous development each year. In the study, loses of civil aviation fields which are airports, airlines, air navigation service providers examined becuse of the relevand epidemic conditions. State aids and further requests to be made in these areas emphasized, and the current situation was revealed by using the data of official institutions. On addition, for overcome the crisis stiation, sub sectors support request information was given. In the empirical part of study; Turkey’s busiest six airports which are; İstanbul Atatürk, İstanbul Airport, İzmir Adnan Menderes, Ankara Esenboğa, İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Antalya Airports effiency analyzed with the same quarters of different two years 2019 and 2020 via Data Envelopment Analysis Technique. The analysis was conducted first 9 months of 2019 and first 9 months of the year 2020. The change in the effiency values due to the COVID-19 and the effective conditions on this changes were also examined. As a result; with the onset of the pandemic, there was a decrease observed in effiency values, but as a result of easing the restrictions in summer period an increase in the values are observed. A decrease was observed by half of the effiency scores between same periods of 2 years were analysed, which had different conditions.
