ABSTRACT It contains many different disciplines under the roof of visual arts. These can be exemplified as painting, photography, architectural, sculpture and graphic design. Although each has different purposes and requirements, these disciplines have some basic common features. While these common features can be exemplified in terms of functionally in some works, they generally appear with requirements that positively affect visual perception in terms of form. In the history of art, there are many works of art in which nature and the proportions in nature are taken as reference in order to realize a strong visual perception. The perfect proportions used in works of art created with a realistic approach and also found in the human body are called the Golden Ratio. The use of the Golden Ratio in artworks strengthens the effect and perception of the work on the audience. In this context, the importance of the Golden Ratio is undeniable in the works created in the field of graphic design that aim to reflect a thought or message visually. In this study, the reflections of the Golden Ratio in the field of graphic design have been examined by taking the sample works created by using the Golden Ratio in the field of art in the field of visual arts as a reference and evaluated within the framework of the specific features of the graphic design field.
