As future employees, university students are an important source of innovation in organizational environments. The aim of this study is to determine the individual innovation level of Kocaeli University students within the scope of "Individual Innovation Scale". In 1977, H. Thomas Hurt, Katherine Joseph and Chester. The "Individual Innovativeness Scale", developed by D. Cook and adapted to Turkish in 2010, was used by Kılıçer and Odabaşı. In the study, the reliability coefficient of the scale consisting of 20 statements was found to be 0.873. The study group of the research; It consists of 123 participants who are in Kocaeli University in the 2020-2021 academic year and continue their education at associate degree. One of the results obtained from the study shows that there is a significant difference in favor of male students between the gender of students studying at vocational high school and the dimensions of individual innovation scale, resistance to change and opinion leadership. According to another result, a significant difference was found between the department in which students study and the dimensions of resistance to change and opinion leadership. When the analysis results were examined; it was observed that the students had a medium level individual innovation score average.
