Reading skill is the process of establishing meaning. Understanding is the connection of the individual's knowledge before reading with the knowledge given in the text during reading. The individual's reading without understanding consists of vocalization. Sotheact of reading must result in understanding. It is estimated that there are a large number of students who have problems with reading and reading comprehension especially in primary school. These problems experienced by students in reading are considered under the concept of reading difficulty. Reading difficulty is thesituation of students who are behind in learning to read even though they have no physica lorintellectual problems during reading .The student's reading difficulties negatively affect his / her academic success in allcourses. Method sand techniques of reading comprehension have been developed in order to gain the ability of reading comprehension to the individual. One of these method sand techniques is word repetition technique. The word repeat technique is included in the literature as the “Word DrillTechnique. Word Repetition technique is effective in acquiring new words. Researchess how that word repeat technique is effective in eliminating errors in oral reading.This research is a compilation type study for literature review. The results of this research are important for its contribution to the field.
