The main purpose of the education system is to raise people who have general cultural knowledge and can contribute to their economic, social and cultural development, depending on Atatürk's principles and reforms in the National Education Basic Law. In order to develop the desired behaviors in students, it is necessary to evaluate this system and to determine which of the planned behaviors are developed and which are not developed. Whether the student achieved the desired behaviors is determined by the measurement and evaluation. Measurement is the process of valuing and digitizing an observed situation in accordance with the determined rules. In order to evaluate the education system, it is necessary to determine the extent to which the system fulfils its objectives and, if any, what are the obstacles.The aim of this study: is to examine primary teacher views on classroom repetition. The study group consists of 50 classroom teachers working in Bartın province. Descriptive model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In the research, semi-structured interview form consisting of 5 items was used as data collection tool. Expert opinion was taken in the preparation of the semi-structured interview form. Percentage of statistical processes were used in the analysis of the data obtained.As a result of the research, 84% of primary teachers say that students will have difficulty in upper classes as a result of not repeating classes, 76% said that failure to repeat the class would negatively affect students ' future exams. 60% of students not doing repetition will not weaken teacher authority. 100% of students do not find it right to submit their repetition to parental approval and It was found that 80 %stated that failure to repeat the class would negatively affect students ' course work behavior.
