Abstract


Transition From Traditional Production Methods To Good Agricultural Practices: The Example Of Turkey

The one of the first definitions that comes to mind when it comes to good agriculture; is to offer the foods that individuals will prefer for their healthy diet without any chemical effect. Good agriculture practice, which is closely related to the development level of the countries, emerges as a factor that understands sustainable agriculture better and realizes the application field. The term of good agriculture has become more widespread with the increase in the population, catching certain accelerations in technology, increasing options in consumption and preferring better quality goods. The fact that countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy started to practice good agriculture in the world has influenced other semi-central countries and enabled them to display a successful example. It was aimed to establish the building block of a good agriculture project by establishing many world organizations such as Agricultural Federations, Organic Agriculture Institution, Naturland Union, Biologia Organization projects of good agricultural practices as well be described as controlled agriculture in Turkey were carried out. Thanks to this practice, which became the backbone of agriculture after 2007, clean environmental awareness was created and contributed to biodiversity. The aim of this study; with the good agricultural practice of the goods coming from the fields to the table, the importance of healthy, clean and reliable foods is highlighted as the benefit of the country’s economies evolves with the understanding of quality in the tastes and preferences of consumers. In this context of good agricultural sustainability, giving developing relations with the countries examined central location and implementation activities in Turkey aimed to draw attention to the fact that the conscious consumer preferences are changing the model.
