Abstract


A Research On The Importance And Challenges Of Personal Sales Activities From Promotion Mix Components

Businesses want to make maximum profit by selling goods or services. In addition to achieving maximum profit, businesses benefit from the marketing function of the entity to maintain continuity. They reach the target audience through effective marketing management. Marketing managers in the marketing department take some variables into consideration when deciding on marketing activities. These variables; they are called marketing components or marketing mix. At the same time, marketing managers are able to make more accurate and appropriate decisions thanks to the marketing mix that creates marketing management functions. Marketing mix; product, price, distribution and promotion functions. The promotion function is the marketing component that makes the product or service relevant to the target audience. The promotion; sales promotion, direct marketing, public relations, advertising and personal sales. Personal sales; As the most expensive method of promotion mix is also the most effective method, it is a method that is frequently used by both business owners and marketing managers. In this context, the focus was on focusing on the importance and challenges of the personal sales activities by focusing on the focus group of 10 people selling personal electronic equipment. Marketing managers, personal sales staff are very valuable, increased the sales of the business, customers are encouraged to take the product again, as the challenges of the profession; that they were tired because of working for a long time and they encountered very unnecessary questions.
