Individuals are entities that have both a psychological and a sociological aspect. Individuals prefer to co-exist with other people to meet their psychological and social needs. When these needs are not solved, individuals may live alone and fear of not being accepted. Individuals close themselves to the outside world as a result of these fears. Loneliness can be studied in different dimensions such as choosing to remain alone, alienation, physical loneliness, and emotional loneliness. When the loneliness in private life is moved to working life, organizational loneliness arises. Organizational loneliness is discussed in two dimensions as social friendship and emotional loneliness. Organizational loneliness results from individual and organizational factors. Organizational loneliness creates negative consequences for individuals and organizations. Negative consequences of organizational loneliness; It is possible to indicate the intention to quit the job, decrease in performance, inattention, decrease in work efficiency, decrease in work stress. The aim of this study is to interpret the information obtained by literature review.
