Abstract
Günümüz toplumunun geldiği aşmada engellilik olgusu yeni boyutlar kazanmaya başlamıştır. Engellik gelişmiş ülkelerin önem verdiği özel bir konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada görme engelli vatandaşların ibadethanelerde yaşadığı sorunları ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma Konya il merkezinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi tercih edilmiş ve görme engelli vatandaşlarla görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sürecinde görme engelli kişilerle görüşülmüştür. Çalışma toplumun engelli vatandaşlar konusunda sosyal bilincini yükseltmeyi hedeflemektedir. Çalışmanın hususi manada amacı ise görme engelli bireylerin toplumsal alanlarda ibadet konusunda yaşadığı sıkıntıları ortaya çıkarmaktır. Alan araştırması sonucunda elde edilecek veriler engelli kişilerle birebir gerçekleştiği için engelli kişilerin ifadelerinden sorunlar tespit edilmiştir. Görme engelli kişilerin ibadetlerde yaşadığı sıkıntı ve negatif tutumların tespiti çalışmanın önemidir. Görme engelli kişiler caminin bulunduğu fiziksel yapının erişilmezligi, yön bulma, abdest almadaki zorluklar konusunda sıkıntılar yaşadığı saptanmıştır. Görme engelli kişilerin camiye ulaşım düzensiz park edilmiş araçlar olmak üzere ağaçlar, seyyar satıcılar, çöp konteynerleri, tabelalar, Telekom kutuları, direkler konusunda zorluk yaşadıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Görme engelliler sokaklarda bulunan başıboş hayvanların verdiği zorluklardan şikâyet etmektedir. Engelli bireyler için ulaşılabilirlik sorununa çözüm getirilmesi için devlet ve insanlara görev düşmektedir. Engelli bireylerin toplumsal görünürlükleri artırılması ve engellilik konusunda toplumsal bilinç geliştirilmesi önerilebilir.

Abstract
In today's society, the phenomenon of disability has started to gain new dimensions. Disability has been a special issue that developed countries attach importance to. The problems these pests experience in sight-obstructing places of worship become apparent. The study was carried out in Konya city center. In the study, qualitative research method was preferred and interviews were conducted with visually impaired citizens. Ten visually impaired people were interviewed during the study process. The study aims to raise the social awareness of the society about disabled citizens. The specific purpose of the study is to reveal the difficulties that visually impaired individuals experience in terms of worship in social areas. Since the data to be obtained as a result of the field research are realized one-on-one with the disabled people, problems have been identified from the eyes of the disabled people. The importance of the study is to determine the problems and negative attitudes experienced by visually impaired people in worship. It has been determined that visually impaired people have difficulties in the inaccessibility of the physical structure where the mosque is located, difficulties in finding direction and making ablution. It has been revealed that visually impaired people have difficulties in transportation to the mosque, including irregularly parked vehicles, trees, peddlers, garbage containers, signboards, Telecom boxes, and poles. Visually impaired people complain about the difficulties of stray animals on the streets. It is the duty of the state and people to find a solution to the problem of accessibility for people with disabilities. It can be suggested to increase the social visibility of disabled people and to raise social awareness about disability
