Abstract
Bu araştırmada Türkiye’de 2000-2020 yılları arasında tamamlanmış olan fen eğitimi alanındaki 75 yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin meta-sentez yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya dâhil edilen tezlerin belirlenmesinde Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nden yararlanılarak “Astronomi” ve “Eğitim” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada geçerlik ve güvenirlik seviyesini istenilen düzeyde tutmak için araştırma soruları ve çalışmanın amacı net bir biçimde sunulmuştur. Araştırmada incelenen tezlerin Yükseköğretim Kurumlarına, türü ve yıllara göre dağılımı, çalışmanın yöntemine ve araştırma desenine göre dağılımı, örneklem grubu ve büyüklükleri, veri toplama araçları ve veri analiz yöntemlerine göre sınıflandırılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada, astronomi eğitimi alanında yapılan tezlerin yüksek lisans tezi olduğu, son yıllarda artış gösterdiği, başarı, tutum kavram öğretimi üzerine yoğunlaştığı, tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, araştırmalarda çoğunlukla nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden deneysel desenin kullanıldığı, çalışmaların çoğunluğunda çalışma grubu olarak ortaokul öğrencileri ile ve 26-50 kişilik katılımcı ile yürütüldüğü ve veri toplama aracı olarak başarı testi ve ölçek kullanılarak betimsel ve içerik analizi yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to examine 75 master's and doctoral theses in science education completed between 2000-2020 in Turkey by using meta-synthesis method. In determining the theses included in the research, the keywords "Astronomy" and "Education" were used by making use of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) National Thesis Center. In order to keep the validity and reliability level at the desired level, the research questions and the purpose of the study are presented clearly. The distribution of the theses examined in the study by Higher Education Institutions, type and years, distribution according to the study method and research design, sample group and size were analyzed by classifying them according to data collection tools and data analysis methods. In the study, it was determined that the theses made in the field of astronomy education are master's theses, have increased in recent years, and focused on teaching success and attitude concepts. In addition, it was determined that the experimental design, one of the quantitative research methods, was mostly used in the studies, the majority of the studies were conducted with middle school students and 26-50 participants as the study group, and descriptive and content analysis was performed using the achievement test and scale as the data collection tool.
